Ortho-K Vision Correcting Contact Lenses

Children & Adults enjoy the benefit of Ortho-K

Orthokeratology (also known as Ortho-K, corneal refractive therapy, CRT, and vision shaping treatment) is a non-surgical method to correct vision using custom-designed nighttime retainers.

Wake Up To Clear Crisp Vision:

Ortho-K is a safe, convenient, non-surgical, and reversible treatment for myopia. Ortho-K retainers are applied before bed and gently reshape the surface of your corneas while you are sleeping.  In the morning, the retainers are removed to enjoy great vision all day long!

Ortho-K is approved for children, teens & adults. Whether you play sports, work in a dusty or windy environment, or simply want to be free of daytime vision correction, when the retainer lenses are removed, nothing gets in the way of your vision. It is important for you to wear your lenses every night in order to maintain clear daytime vision.

Orthokeratology is often used as a method of myopia control and has been shown to effectively control the progression of myopia in children.

Our doctors are certified, as required by the FDA, to design and prescribe the Ortho-K lens.

How To Get Started With Ortho-K?

Patients interested in learning about Ortho-K are first seen for a basic exam and Ortho-K screening  evaluation to determine their eligibility.  If we determine you are a suitable candidate, we will custom design Ortho-K retainer lenses for you.  We will train you to properly apply and care for your new retainers.  We see our Ortho-K patients the next morning, again after one week, at one month, and thereafter as needed. Patients who have successful results are then seen for annual examinations to monitor ocular health and make any necessary enhancements.

We feature advanced Ortho-K designs to give our patients the best attainable result, including:

  • Paragon CRT
  • Moonlens
  • Eyespace
  • WAVE Custom CAD/CAM Designed Lenses
